Books of 2010

Happy New Year!!

So.... I really like reading. In 2009 I read 61 books (and there's a much wordier post about reading from last year). In 2010 I was able to up that number to 72 novels and 11 graphic novels. That's 83 total books with 21,652 pages! Whew. I don't think I'll be beating this number any time soon.

Please indulge my month-by-month photo summary:

In summary:
I loved the Millenium series, finishing Nick Bantock's Griffin & Sabine books, and discovering my love for Alice Walker. I read a pretty good variety of bestsellers, classics, and YA. I think it's time to distance myself from YA novels.... there were some bad ones in there. I read a handful of non-fiction books this year, which is a step forward for me. Finally, I recommend Kazu Kibuishi's graphic novels if you're new to the genre (or love amazing illustrations).

Anyway, if you're still reading this and want to talk books on Goodreads, go here and be my book friend. ;)

Again...
Happy New Year!

  1. Not sure how you find time to make such adorable crafts, let alone work, with all the reading you do! One question, all those Lauren Conrad books, is that the same LC from The Hills?
